THE GO4IT WEEKLY

Your Weekly Spark to Dream Big, Do More, Go Far. Issue #3

The Power of Small Steps.
Progress Over Perfection.

THIS WEEK’S WORD
Stop Waiting to Be Perfect.
Start Where You Are.

Karen stared at her vision board.
The goals were big.
The deadlines were tight.
Her motivation? Missing.
I will start Monday; she told herself again.
But Monday came… and passed. Again.

This time, something shifted.
She opened her Bible, and her eyes landed on this scripture,

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.
 Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)
That verse wrecked her excuses.
God didn’t ask for perfection. He was celebrating movement.
So, she didn’t write a book.
She just wrote a paragraph.
She didn’t plan the full business.
She just blocked out 15 minutes.

And you know what?
That small step got her further than all the perfect plans ever did.

FROM COACH TYUS

Hey Dreamer,

Let me remind you of something simple but life changing.
You are not behind. You are just building.
Don’t let the pressure to be perfect stop you from starting.
Don’t let comparison silence your consistency.
And don’t confuse slow growth with no progress.

We celebrate big wins, but real success is built in the quiet daily steps.
In the early mornings.
In the journaling no one sees.
In the prayers when no one’s listening.
In the “I’m showing up anyway” moments.

This week, I challenge you to fall in love with the small.
Not because it’s flashy but because it’s faithful.

Every move you make is building something eternal.
So don’t despise the small.
Don’t dismiss the day one.
Don’t delay the dream because it doesn’t feel big enough yet.

One step a day = momentum.

Let’s GO. Let’s GROW. Let’s GO FAR.

GO4IT LIFE PILLARS
6 Ways to Move, Even When It’s Not Perfect.

Let’s get real.
You don’t need a flawless plan you need a consistent and faithful move.
These six pillars are your foundation for real momentum.

Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Go with what you have got.

Karen didn’t have time for a gym session this week.
But she did have 15 minutes, a prayer, and a will to move.

Her imperfect but powerful routine:

  • 10 pushups

  • 20 squats

  • 15 jumping jacks

  • 3 deep breaths + 1 whispered, “God, use me.”

    Your GO4IT Fitness Challenge.

Skip the guilt. Simplify the goal. Show up anyway.
Even 15 minutes of movement is a declaration: I believe in where I am going.

Perfection won’t fix what you won’t face.

Karen used to ignore her finances because she felt behind.
But she realized clarity creates freedom.

This week she:

  • Logged every expense

  • Highlighted 2 “dream-fuel” investments

  • Cut 1 “comfort” expense

  • Moved $10 into her “Vision Fund”

Your GO4IT Finance Move.

  • Write 3 small money wins

  • Set 1 bold goal

  • Move $5 in the direction of your dream

Small stewardship builds a big vision.

Your presence is more valuable than your perfection.

Karen missed a moment… but she didn’t miss the mission.
She sat on the couch beside her daughter and simply said:

“I’m here. And I care.”

Then she asked, what’s been the best part of your week?

Your GO4IT Family Move.

  • Unplug for 10 minutes this week

  • Ask someone close: What made you smile today?

Even when it’s messy, showing up matters.

You don’t need a grand gesture. You need real connection.

Karen felt the distance in her friendships.
So, she chose one text instead of silence.

“Thinking of you. I appreciate you. Let’s reconnect soon.”

No pressure. Just presence.

Your GO4IT Relationship Move.

Text 1 person this question: How can I pray for you this week?

Watch what opens up.
Sometimes the smallest reach leads to the biggest reconnection.

Ron’s dream was to lead a women’s prayer group.
He didn’t have a logo. A full plan. A 10-week outline.
But he created a group chat and invited 3 women to pray this Saturday.

And that was enough.

Your GO4IT Future Focus:

  • Write down one “GO anyway” dream.

  • Take one brave, messy, bold step this week.

  • Remember: faith rewards movement.

Faith doesn’t wait on perfection it walks anyway.

Karen dreamed of leading a women’s prayer group.
She didn’t have a logo. Or an outline. Or a launch date.
But she started a group chat.
Invited 3 women.
Set a time.

That small act was her GO.

Your GO4IT Future Focus.

  • Write down one “GO anyway” dream

  • Take one bold, unpolished step toward it

  • Trust that faith rewards forward movement

The Micro-Move Tracker

Create a weekly checklist with just ONE small action you will repeat every day.

Here’s how

  1. Write your GOAL (example: Launch podcast or get healthy)

  2. Break it into micro moves

    • Ex: Record for 10 minutes

    • Ex: Walk 15 mins

    • Ex: Brainstorm 3 titles

  3. Post your tracker on the wall or mirror

  4. Check off every small step you complete

  5. Celebrate your wins no matter how small

Small steps are how we GO FAR.
