THE GO4IT WEEKLY
Your Weekly Spark to Dream Big, Do More, Go Far. Issue #15

THIS WEEK’S WORD
When you change what comes first, everything else falls into place.
Alexis was the person who everyone could count on,
but she could not count on herself for rest, peace, or focus.
Her planner looked like a battlefield of overlapping appointments.
Emails before sunrise. Back-to-back Zoom calls.
Groceries crammed into 20 minutes between school pickups.
By the end of the day, Alexis collapsed into bed thinking,
“I worked all day… but did I actually move forward?”
Then came the breaking point: she missed her daughter’s school recital
because she was on a “can’t-miss” call that, in the end, didn’t matter at all.
That night, she asked herself one question:
“What’s really first in my life? And what’s just filling space?”
Her answer was clear: God, family, her health.
But her calendar did not reflect it. That’s when she made the priority shift.
The surprising part? Once she put first things first,
she found herself with more peace, more clarity,
and ironically more productivity. She learned that shifting priorities
does not give you more time, it gives you back your life.
FROM COACH TYUS
Here is the truth, busyness does not equal fruitfulness.
A full calendar can still leave you empty inside.
The difference? Priorities.
When you put first things first, you don’t just rearrange your schedule,
you realign your soul. Alexis didn’t get more time. She got more truth.
She stopped giving her best to what mattered least
and started giving her best to what mattered most.
This week, I dare you to shift.
Ask yourself: Does my calendar reflect my purpose?
Or just my chaos?
Because when you make the priority shift,
everything else finds its place.
Stay focused. Stay ready. Move forward.

GO4IT LIFE PILLARS
Follow-Through Focus

Put Health Before Hustle
Alexis used to treat her health like an “extra credit”
task something she’d squeeze in if there was time left over.
But time was never left over.
When she made the shift, she decided: my body is not optional,
it’s essential. Now she moves first thing in the morning, before emails,
before errands. That one shift gave her energy to show up
sharper in every area of her life.
Your GO4IT Move
· Schedule your movement like a top-priority meeting.
· Even 15 minutes at the start of your day sends the message: “I matter.”

Pay Purpose First
Before the shift, Alexis spent without intention. Bills, random
Target runs late-night online shopping.
Giving and saving came last if at all.
Now she puts her money where her mission is.
Tithing and saving come first, spending comes second.
The result? Peace instead of panic. Confidence instead of chaos.
Your GO4IT Move
Before you pay a bill this week,
put something even a little into your Dream Fund.
Let your money reflect your purpose, not just your pressure.

Presence Over Productivity
For Alexis, family time used to be “when I get done with everything else.”
Which meant family often got the leftovers of her energy.
Now? Family comes first. Dinner time is sacred.
Phones go away; laughter comes back.
Instead of multitasking through their lives, she is fully present.
Your GO4IT Move
Block one sacred family slot each day dinner,
bedtime, or a 10-minute walk.
Protect it like you would a business deal.
Because your family is your most valuable asset.

Prioritize the Builders, Not the Drainers
Alexis realized she was investing hours into relationships
that drained her while neglecting those who actually built her up.
She made the shift: now she pours into life-giving friendships first,
not last.
The impact? More joy. More support. More courage to keep going.
Your GO4IT Move
Make a list of your “builders” and “drainers.”
This week, give your best energy to one builder
and set a boundary with one drainer.

Start With the Dream, Not the Distraction
For years, Alexis dreamed of writing a book.
But every day, distractions got first dibs. Social media.
Emails. Meetings. By bedtime, she was too drained to write.
Her shift? She began her day with 20 minutes of writing
before anything else. Little by little, words became chapters.
Chapters became a manuscript.
Your GO4IT Move
Identify your “future project” (business, book, ministry, idea).
Spend your first 20 minutes of the day on it. Let distractions wait.

Put God Back on Top
Before, Alexis’s mornings began with scrolling.
News, emails, notifications. No wonder her day felt
noisy before it even started.
Now? Prayer before phone. Scripture before scrolling.
God gets the first word, not the world.
That one priority shift realigned her heart
and gave her peace that lasted all day.
Your GO4IT Move
Spend the first 5 minutes of your day with God before touching a screen.
Let Him set your priorities before the world does.
