THE GO4IT WEEKLY ISSUE #27
Breakthrough usually shows up one step after I’m ready to quit.

THIS WEEK’S WORD
Jalen always dreamed big. Big business ideas.
Big spiritual goals. Big lifestyle changes.
Big visions for who he wanted to become.
But his follow-through… that was another story.
He was a starter a great one.
New journal? Filled the first three pages.
New gym plan? Motivated for the first week.
New spiritual routine? Fire for the first few mornings.
Then resistance came. Momentum slowed.
Applause faded. Energy shifted.
And each time, the same internal voice whispered.
If it’s this hard, maybe it’s not meant for you.
One night, frustrated with another unfinished project,
Jalen sat on the edge of his bed surrounded by reminders
of all the things he started but never sustained.
It wasn’t laziness.
It wasn’t lack of talent.
It wasn’t lack of opportunity.
It was something deeper in his relationship with persistence.
He asked himself a brutally honest question:
“What if the thing I’m praying for is waiting on the version of me
who stays… not starts?” That question broke him and rebuilt
him at the same time. So, Jalen made a new commitment:
This time, I’m not starting over. I’m staying in it until it grows.
And when obstacles came, he stayed.
When emotions dipped, he stayed.
When progress stalled, he stayed.
When it wasn’t exciting he stayed.
And slowly, something powerful happened:
His discipline strengthened.
His confidence grew.
His outcomes improved.
His identity shifted.
His mindset matured.
His belief expanded.
The change wasn’t sudden. It was stacked.
Brick by brick. Day by day.
Decision after decision.
Then came the breakthrough a door that stayed shut for years opened,
not because he tried harder…
but because he didn’t quit this time.
Jalen learned.
Starting creates hope.
Persistence creates results.
And finishing creates transformation
GO4IT LIFE PILLARS

Small Steps → Big Wins
Jalen realized that the biggest enemy of his fitness was not his body
it was his mindset. He used to aim for perfection:
60-minute workouts
daily meal prep
zero sugar
zero excuses
But perfection is a terrible trainer it quits on you
the moment you mess up. Persistence, however, will train you
even on your worst days. Jalen adopted one truth
A little every day beats a lot every once in a while.
He committed to simple consistency:
A 15-minute walk
A 20-minute stretch
A quick home routine
A hydration goal
A daily step target
He learned that small wins compound, and momentum
is a muscle the more you build it, the stronger you feel.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Choose a 10–20-minute movement you can repeat easily
+ Track your streak on a calendar
+ Reward consistency, not intensity
Persistence builds the body you want, not punishment.

Compounding Rewards Faithful Habits
Jalen’s financial life shifted when he realized this
that money grows where discipline lives.
He kept waiting to be “in the right season” to save, invest, or plan.
But the right season is the one where you start and stay.
When he embraced persistent habits small but consistent he experienced:
Less stress
More clarity
More control
Increasing savings
Better decisions
Fewer impulse purchases
Persistence in finances builds margin and margin builds opportunity.
When you are persistent financially, you create space for God
to bless what you steward.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Automate one weekly transfer
+ Keep it simple, keep it consistent
+ Review progress monthly to stay encouraged
Financial peace is a product of financial persistence.

Consistency Builds Safety
Relationships don’t grow because of big moments
they grow because of consistent ones.
Jalen discovered that what his family needed was not perfection,
but presence.
So, he created rhythms:
Weekly family dinner
Daily gratitude moments
Screen-free hour
Monthly check-in conversation
Random acts of kindness
Over time, these small persistent actions built:
Trust
Openness
Laughter
Stability
Healing
When persistence shows up in a household, peace follows.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Create ONE weekly family tradition
+ Protect it like an appointment with your destiny
+ Let time do the work consistency started
Consistency is the love language of healthy families.

Don’t Quit on People Too Soon
Healthy relationships require intentional persistence.
Jalen realized he had been expecting rich relationships
without investing in rich consistency.
So, he committed to:
Checking in on people
Scheduling meetups
Following through
Showing up on time
Listening deeply
Giving grace freely
Persistence strengthened his friendships and expanded his network.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Choose 2–3 high-value friendships
+ Invest intentionally each week
+ Build depth through consistency
People trust what you do repeatedly not what you say occasionally.

Destiny Requires Endurance
Purpose is not revealed in one moment
it unfolds through persistence.
Every dream has a resistance phase.
Every calling has a testing season.
Every assignment has a stretching point.
Jalen realized:
Dreams mature at the speed of consistency.
So, he stopped trying to sprint into destiny
and started committing to daily obedience:
One action
One text
One page
One call
One improvement
One push
Day after day.
And his future opened slowly but surely.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Choose ONE dream
+ Take ONE daily step
+ Build ONE month of consistent effort
Persistence builds the bridge between vision and reality.

Jalen learned persistence is not just discipline
it’s devotion.
Every time he chose not to quit,
his faith became stronger.
Every moment he stayed with the process,
his character deepened.
He discovered the divine truth:
God multiplies what we consistently commit.
His persistence became a spiritual offering:
Reading scripture daily
Prayer even when tired
Worship even when unsure
Gratitude even when waiting
God strengthened him because he stayed.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Declare scripture every morning
+ Pray before you quit
+ Stay where God placed you
Breakthrough comes to those who endure.

COACH TYUS NOTE
Let me speak directly to you not as a coach,
but as someone who has been where you are.
You don’t need more hype.
You don’t need a miracle shortcut.
You don’t need a perfect day.
You need persistence.
Persistence is the great equalizer.
Persistence separates dreamers from doers.
Persistence turns ordinary people into extraordinary leaders.
This week don’t pray for an easier path
pray for stronger endurance.
Your future is not just waiting…it’s watching.
Watching to see if you’ll stay long enough
to receive what God already prepared.
And you will.
Stay focused. Stay ready. Move forward.
