THE GO4IT WEEKLY ISSUE FINISH STRONG EDITION PT.2
Delay is not denial... it’s development.

THIS WEEK’S WORD
Chris did not struggle with faith
he struggled with timing.
He believed God had called him to more.
He believed the promise.
He believed the vision.
What frustrated him was this simple question:
Why it’s not t happening yet?
He had done the work.
Stayed faithful.
Prayed consistently.
Prepared diligently.
Yet the door he expected to open in 2025 stayed closed.
Every time December approached, comparison crept in.
Friends were advancing.
Plans were unfolding.
Timelines were being celebrated.
And Chris quietly wondered:
Did I miss something… or did God forget me?
One night, while reading scripture, he paused on a familiar truth
he had skimmed over for years: to everything there is a season.
Not a rush. Not a shortcut.
A season. That’s when it hit him.
God was not slow. God was strategic.
The delay was not punishment, it was preparation.
The waiting was not wasted; it was weight training for his faith.
Chris realized something life-changing:
God’s plan was not behind schedule his expectations were.
And when he released his timeline, peace replaced pressure.
He stopped asking When? And started asking Who am I becoming
while I wait? That shift did not just calm his spirit
it aligned his future.
GO4IT LIFE PILLARS

Trust the Process, Not the Stopwatch
Chris realized his body taught him what faith required.
Growth does not happen instantly.
Muscles strengthen gradually.
Endurance builds over time.
Trying to rush results only causes injury.
The same is true spiritually.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Stop comparing your progress to others
+ Focus on consistency over speed
+ Ask: Am I stronger than I was last season?
Rushing growth leads to burnout.
Trusting the process builds strength.

God Builds Capacity Before Increase
Chris wanted increase but God wanted stewardship.
Looking back, he realized God delayed certain financial blessings
not to withhold… but to protect him.
Delay taught him discipline.
Waiting developed wisdom.
Consistency built character.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Review what God trusted you with this year
+ Ask: Am I managing well what I already have?
+ Trust that capacity precedes increase
God grows your hands before He fills them.

Timing Shapes Relationships Too
Some conversations came later than Chris wanted.
Some relationships matured slower than expected.
Some healing took longer than planned.
But reflection showed him this truth:
Rushed relationships break.
Timely relationships build.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Give grace to relationships still growing
+ Stop forcing outcomes that require patience
+ Trust God’s timing in healing and restoration
God’s pace protects what He’s building.

Stop Comparing Paths
Chris realized comparison was poisoning his peace.
Other people’s timelines made him doubt his calling.
But God never promised matching paths
only faithful obedience.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Mute comparison triggers this week
+ Celebrate others without questioning yourself
+ Trust that your lane has purpose
Different timelines don’t mean different values.

Delay Develops Depth
When Chris looked back honestly,
he saw how waiting matured him:
He became more patient
More discerning
More grounded
More prayerfully
More resilient
If his breakthrough had come early,
he would not have been ready to sustain it.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Write down what this season is teaching you
+ Ask: What strength is God building in me?
+ Trust that readiness matters more than speed
God prepares the person before releasing the promise.

God Is Always On Time
Chris finally understood:
God isn’t late.
God isn’t confused.
God isn’t distracted.
He’s intentional.
Faith grew when Chris stopped measuring time
and started measuring trust.
Your GO4IT Move
+ Pray: God, help me trust Your timing.
+ Release deadlines you put on God
+ Rest in His sovereignty
Waiting is not a lack of faith
it’s often the deepest expression of it.

COACH TYUS NOTE
Let me remind you: God’s delays are not His denials.
If something did not happen this year,
it doesn’t mean it won’t happen
it means it was not ready, or you were not ready
for it to happen.
And neither were you.
This December, don’t rush the calendar.
Don’t curse the waiting.
Don’t question your calling.
Trust the God who sees what you can’t
and times things better than you ever could.
You are not behind.
You are being built.
Stay focused. Stay ready. Move forward.
